MY REVIEW
The family and I had an unmistakable amount of anticipation. Our two children could barely contain their enthusiasm. We had heard so much about Foaming Fury's reputation, and now we were about to experience it firsthand.
Barron Gorge National Park was nothing short of breathtaking. We started on the lower section of the Barron River rapids, the lush rainforest and scenic mountain ranges served as a mesmerizing backdrop. The gentle push of the river and the distant calls of the rainforest birds added to the ambiance.
Our guide was incredibly patient, especially with our children. The comprehensive training session before the tour ensured that we all felt confident and safe. My youngest, usually a bundle of nerves, was soon laughing and eagerly awaiting the next set of rapids, thanks to the guide's reassurances.
The choice between the 8-person rafts and the 2-person sports rafts added a touch of adventure. My eldest and I opted for the sports raft, enjoying the thrill of navigating the waters together, while my wife and our youngest felt more comfortable in the larger raft. The blend of excitement and bonding was palpable.
As the tour concluded, we all sat by the riverbank, shoes off, feet dipped in the cool water, reflecting on the adventure. It was an experience that creating memories that we'll cherish forever. The blend of nature's beauty and the thrill of white water rafting made it an unforgettable day for all of us.
